Easter reportage

A week ago I promised a little reportage on my Easter weekend followed with some pictures. Unfortunately my little Damien got sick right after Easter and is getting better only now. Poor little thing.

Anyways, here I am 🙂

I started my Easter weekend by colouring the eggs. It’s a Latvian tradition. Even though I don’t live in Latvia already for many years, I still like to follow this tradition and symbolically dye couple of eggs. Just for my joy. Cause whenever I do it, I feel like going back to my childhood and be a little girl again 🙂

Here is a link that my hubby filmed some years ago on how we actually do all the egg painting:

Then on Sunday we had a huuuugggeeee lunch with my husband’s family. Seriously, don’t remember the last time, when I ate so much and so many good things. Just to mention some, there were handmade ravioli, roasted pork, homemade cheesecake etc. etc.  AMAZINGLY delicious!

The next day we went to villetta in Flumini, to spend some time outside the city. Always with the family. I had marinated some chicken and we had an amazing barbecue. People, who like marinated smoked meat, know what I’m talking about. I was over the moon 🙂 Apparently, food is very important for me 😀 😀

To sum it up, I had a really lovely Easter!! Hope you did too.

Happy weekend and talk to you soon!
